Digital Library 

The Digital Library of the Soprintendenza Archivistica della Sicilia – Archivio di Stato di Palermo, presented in 2023, is a starting point for archival research. 

The platform is in continuous implementation. It contains over 4.000 digital resources already uploaded in the interoperable format IIIF, distributed in 13 fonds, 28 periodicals and 6 collections, digital journeys, indexing functions and high-tech web surfing. 

Archivio Digitale 

All the parchments of the Diplomatico collection of the Soprintendenza Archivistica della Sicilia – Archivio di Stato di Palermo are digitally reproduced and available online on the internet portal  Archivio Digitale of the  Istituto Centrale per gli Archivi – Icar (Central Institute for Archives ).

On the platform of the digital archive, it is possible to consult the digitized heritage concerning the State Archives and the Archival and Bibliographical Superintendencies joining the project.  

Portale Antenati

Starting from 27 April 2026, the Stato civile records of the Restaurazione of Palermo and its province, as well as the series of Riveli di beni e anime of the Tribunale del Real Patrimonio and of the Deputazione del Regno, are available online on the Portale Antenati.

Some of the records are not currently available on the Portal. In particular, a second batch of archival units, more recently digitized, will be published online at a later stage by ICAR. The list of the archival units concerned is available here: TRP Riveli II LottoDownload.

At present, the online publication of the documentation relating to the Suprema Giunta Centrale per la rettifica dei riveli (years 1811 and 1811–1820) is not planned. Both types of documentation mentioned above can, in any case, be consulted exclusively in the study room of the Archivio di Stato.
